• Main Line Flax builds a bast fiber to create a new inherently flame-retardant fabric from sustainable sources. No chemical flame retardants or topically applied treatments, just pure wool and flax. One of the attributes of this wool-rich fabric is that liquids tend to bead up on the face of the fabric to give one time to blot a spill. A symbol of purity, wild flax has been used in textiles for thousands of years thanks to its strong, long, and smooth fibers found inside the stem of the plant. The fiber is spun into a 70/30 wool/flax blend, then fiber dyed using low-impact dyes to create a beautiful mixture of yarns which are woven into interesting solids and cross-colors inspired by the rich tones of rare jewels. This incredibly durable fabric is great for heavy-duty residential end use as well as in a contract environment. The fabric will naturally allow the upholstered pieces to meet the strict criteria for use in public settings. Made in England.

Perfect for upholstery in the most demanding residential conditions and also great for slipcovers. The wonderful hand lends itself to many other applications. Fabric from the Winthrop collection, like many we feature, is washable – in fact, the fabric benefits from washing and use, becoming softer and more lustrous as it ages. Though washable, we recommend professional cleaning if it's upholstered on a frame.

• Puget is a sturdy fabric with a nubby texture is soft to the touch, but its hemp and linen framework makes it a classic workhorse with a timeless appeal. Cotton only certified organic; but, as in all of our fabrics, GOTS compliant processing from field to finished fabric.

• Taking its name from the ancient title of Wensleydale in the UK, Yoredale is a fabric steeped in heritage. A highly textured textile with undulations reflective of its Yorkshire roots, its fascinating bouclé style yarn includes a contrasting black binder, creating subtle details within the weave that brings added depth to its saturated tones. Woven from British wool, Yoredale is truly timeless, blending its rich history with a contemporary appeal. Boucle was a favorite mid-19th-century fabric and is experiencing a Renaissance. We do not recommend this for households with cats that are prone to clawing upholstery fabric due to the loops. This incredibly durable fabric is great for heavy-duty residential end use as well as in a contract environment. The fabric will naturally (wool being inherently flame resistant) allow the upholstered pieces to meet the strict criteria for use in public settings.

• Islamorada is crafted in Canada in a BSCI factory. BSCI provides a system that helps companies gradually improve working conditions in their supply chain.
  The outer fabric is 100% cotton and Oeko-Tex 100 certified.  This all-season comforter is filled with Grade A silky kapok fiber making it lightweight, soft, and pure. The locked baffle box construction keeps the fill in place and allows the fill to loft to its maximum level. The sewn-in corner loops for attaching to the duvet cover keep it securely in place.  Carries a 10-year warranty on workmanship.
  
  Not familiar with kapok? Kapok is a cellulosic fiber that comes from the soft, fluffy seed covering of the kapok tree, which grows in rainforests and tropical climates. The tree produces pods, and the kapok fiber is in the pods. The trees continue to produce pods year after year. The pods are harvested without cutting down the tree. Insects are not attracted to the trees, so no pesticides or insecticides are needed for the trees — our kapok fiber is grown naturally.  Kapok fiber is the lightest natural fiber in the world, is composed of 80% air, is 8 times lighter than cotton, and is hydrophobic, vegan, and completely natural. Kapok fiber is breathable, clean, and contains great thermo-insulating properties. 
  
  Care Instructions: Always use with a duvet cover. The fill is cleaned to uncompromising standards as such, regularly laundering the comforter is not required as long as you keep the duvet cover clean. Please also remember there are antibacterial and disinfecting qualities with letting the sun help to disinfect your comforter/duvet. But if cleaning is required, please follow these steps. • Our Islamorada Kapok pillow is crafted in Canada in a BSCI factory. BSCI provides a system that helps companies gradually improve working conditions in their supply chain. The outer fabric is  233 thread count 100% cotton and Oeko-tex 100 – certified.  This cloud-like pillow is filled with Grade A silky kapok fiber making it lightweight, soft, and pure. Sold in a drawstring bag that is made from the same fabric as the pillow ticking.
  
  Not familiar with kapok? Kapok is a cellulosic fiber that comes from the soft, fluffy seed covering of the kapok tree, which grows in rainforests and tropical climates. • This vintage Ficks Reed rattan  loveseat has been completely stripped and reupholstered with all new ingredients and fabric. GOLS certified organic latex seat and back cushions with organic wool wrap.  Bench seat cushion and attached back cushions are in Lee Jofa Lexington Ivory which is  a 100% brushed cotton twill that has been preshrunk. The two Euro style throw pillows are filled with organic wooly bolas and the cover fabric has hidden zippers so covers can be removed and laundered. The fabric is  a slub cotton with low impact dyes. Overall length=62", overall depth =33", overall height =32", inside seat depth=22.5", seat height= 18".  The seat cushion  is a medium density latex. The area with sign of wear is at the front base on left side when facing the loveseat and it is not highly visible.

• Ecopell Rodeo Soft - is chromium-free and vegetable-tanned leather. Its subtle elegant appearance, its pleasant grip, and its tart-fresh scent are the result of a manufacturing process that combines traditional tanneries with modern technical procedures. Ecopell uses only heavy metal-free paints. Inputs that harm human and environmental health are not used. Due to the naturalness of Ecopell Nappa, the leather gets a natural patina through light, time, and touch. The colors can become brighter or darker over time. It is different from Nappa in that it is further processed to give it a softer hand and nubuck effect. It is treated with generous amounts of fats and waxes. The result is a soft and supple leather that scores with the looks of antique leather. The leathers are ECARF certified. Ecopell thinks that naturalness mustn’t be hidden and that individuality is a sign of quality. That is why Ecopell leather shows marks of an entire cow's life and is neither embossed nor sealed with plastics. It is akin to an apple from natural cultivation which differs in individual form and unevenness from that of an industrially produced apple that appears ‘perfect’ but has wax and artificial light manipulating its surface. it is, also, the same difference between naturally tanned leather and industrially processed leather. • Because dust and dirt cause fabric to wear faster, we recommend vacuuming regularly with an upholstery attachment. An annual professional vapor cleaning will keep your upholstered furniture looking its best. Avoid placing your upholstered furniture in direct sunlight or in front of a gas heater to minimize fading. Dark fabrics and natural fibers like cotton are most susceptible to fading.
  
  For isolated spots or stains: Blot stains or spills with an absorbent white cloth and distilled water only. Do not rub the stain into the fabric, blot it. If the stain persists, a paste of OxiClean Laundry Baby Stain Soaker and distilled water can be sprinkled on the stain. Gently rub the paste with a dry cloth. Let sit for 10 minutes, then vacuum. If the stain persists after three applications, do not continue. Contact a professional steam cleaner and advise them of the problem as well as the desire to have the fabric cleaned without harsh chemicals. Do not use chlorine-based bleach.

• Taking its name from the ancient title of Wensleydale in the UK, Yoredale is a fabric steeped in heritage. A highly textured textile with undulations reflective of its Yorkshire roots, its fascinating bouclé style yarn includes a contrasting black binder, creating subtle details within the weave that brings added depth to its saturated tones. Woven from British wool, Yoredale is truly timeless, blending its rich history with a contemporary appeal. Boucle was a favorite mid-19th-century fabric and is experiencing a Renaissance. We do not recommend this for households with cats that are prone to clawing upholstery fabric due to the loops. This incredibly durable fabric is great for heavy-duty residential end use as well as in a contract environment. The fabric will naturally (wool being inherently flame resistant) allow the upholstered pieces to meet the strict criteria for use in public settings. Five (5) yard minimum order.
