After a few years of unprecedented lead times of up to a year due mostly to labor shortages, our lead time to produce is back to twelve weeks with West Coast maker and 14 weeks with our Waco TX maker. These leads are for our standard line items. Completely custom pieces require approved drawings and a few extra weeks.
PlyCon Transportation is our white glove shipper for most of the country and they are averaging 2 weeks from pick up until delivery. PLyCon is the best and longest established national white glove shipper. In transit damages are almost non-existent. After decades of working with other white glove transporters, I will not use most of them for a plethora of reasons, including in transit damages and not honoring claims. Urban and suburban areas are serviced more frequently than remote areas. We use Justo Home Delivery in California they typically deliver within a week of picking up.
We do not offer discounts or refunds if an ingredient is backordered and the lead time is lengthened as a result. We do not give refunds once we have purchased all of the raw materials, upholstery fabric and given the workroom a deposit. This is because we don't get refunds either. It isn't borne from greed. The pieces are custom and made-to-order. I have no control over issues with our subcontractors that might cause unexpected delays in production lead times.
Sofa shipping costs with in room set-up have been averaging 15% of the sell price in second half of 2024. The delivery cost depends upon the dimensions of the piece, the weight, the number of pieces, the delivery zip code and the number of flights of stairs that a two person delivery team must ascend to put the furniture in the room. Ottomans
Shipping cost is an additional $100 if your 24" x 24" ottoman is shipped with an existing upholstery order (sofa, chair or sectional). We recommend ordering your ottoman at the same time that you order your other upholstery to save on shipping and ensure fabric dye lot match. Otherwise, due to its weight, shipping an ottoman by itself can be as much as $300 depending on delivery location. Please contact us for a quote.
Accessories
Shipping is free for accessories when they ship with an upholstery order. If shipped independently of an upholstery order, we'll create a quote.
Fabric Samples
Shipping is $7.95 for as many fabric samples as you like, anywhere in U.S. If you return fabric swatches to us, we will issue you a full refund for sampling cost.
