Customize your new furniture by choosing the finish on your solid maple legs. We use only Natural Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C Finish. It is the leading plant-based, environmentally responsible, sustainable, nonpolluting, single-coat, durable wood finish.  It's available in a range of beautiful colors: Pure (Clear), Cherry Coral, Walnut, Espresso (custom blend), and Charcoal. The finish color samples shown have been applied to maple wood for relative color comparison. If you choose mid-century legs in a wood species other than maple, we recommend using the Pure (Clear) Rubio Monocoat finish – to let the natural wood color be your desired shade.

Add button back tufting to the back cushions of the Tom and Athens styles for a touch of distinction. The tufting is fastened with a fabric covered button. It can be added to styles with tight back cushions only (that is the Tom and Athens collections). Buttons can be covered in the same fabric as the upholstery fabric or in a contrasting fabric for a bit of whimsy. A double row of tufting can be added for double the up-charge. (Button back tufting comes standard on the Jamestown.)

Customize your new upholstery piece, by choosing a beautiful solid maple, mid-century leg made in the USA. Available for all collections except the Chatham English Arm (for aesthetic reasons). The mid-century leg is available in solid maple wood in a range of beautiful, Natural Rubio Monocoat Oil Finish colors. Legs shown are 5" in height and have no finish on them; 4" and 6" legs are also available to raise or lower seat height. Legs are also available in other wood species, such as walnut, cherry and mahogany. If you choose a wood species other than maple, we recommend using the Pure (Clear) Rubio Monocoat finish.
